Former Wharton High School standout Carson Caso played on Wednesday, June 4 in hopes of reaching the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship

On Wednesday, June 4, former Wharton High School standout Carson Caso’s current collegiate team the Tampa Spartans lost 13-5 against the Northwest Nazarene Nighthawks in the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship.

The game took place at USA Baseball National Training Complex at 6 p.m. and was the second matchup against the Northwest Nazarene Nighthawks in the tournament.

The Tampa Spartans’ next game will take place on Thursday, June 5 at 3 p.m. at USA Baseball National Training Complex.
