On Friday, March 28, former Lennard High School standout John Smith III’s current college team, the South Alabama Jaguars, lost 8-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Southern Miss Golden Eagles.

The game took place at Pete Taylor Park. This was their first matchup against the Golden Eagles this season.

The Jaguars’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 29 at 2 p.m. at Pete Taylor Park against Southern Miss Golden Eagles.
