On Sunday, April 6, former Gaither High School standout Mimi Gooden’s current college team, the Florida State Seminoles, won 13-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Virginia Cavaliers.

The game took place at JoAnne Graf Field at the Seminole Softball Complex. This was their third matchup against the Cavaliers this season.

The Seminoles’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 11 at 6 p.m. at Levine-Fricke Field against California Golden Bears.
