On Tuesday, May 27, former Steinbrenner High School standout Ashley Mantei’s current collegiate team the Tampa Spartans lost 0-6 against the UT Tyler Patriots in the NCAA Division II Softball Championship.

The game took place at Jim Frost Stadium at 11 a.m. and was the first matchup against the UT Tyler Patriots in the tournament.

The Tampa Spartans’ next game will take place on Wednesday, May 28 at 3 p.m. at Jim Frost Stadium.
