City of Plant City Government issued the following announcement on Aug. 30.
Trash service using the new carts begins AUGUST 30 for residents in phase one!
If you have received your new Cart-To-Curb trash cart, please put it out for collection on your normal days each week start.
If you requested a 35-gallon cart as part of phase 1, you will receive your new cart soon. It has been shortly delayed due to a manufacturing issue. For now, continue to use your normal trash bin or put out your trash in a bag.
The recycling program will remain unchanged at this time. Residents in phase two of the new Cart-To-Curb program will receive their new carts in July 2022.
