Seminole Police Department issued the following announcement on Sept. 20.
On 9/14/21 the Seminole Police Department had two Reserve Officers graduate The Reserve Academy hosted by the Tecumseh Police Department. Officer Doucette and Officer Villegas spent their own time and money completing the training over the course of the past six months, which included two evening classes a week and some weekends. This academy takes a lot of dedication to complete and each of these officers passed the final exam with over a 90%.
Officer Doucette received the academy’s award for top female shooter. The Seminole Police Department would like to congratulate and thank Officer Doucette and Officer Velligas for their hard work.
