Robert Staley was sworn in as Temple Terrace Police Department Deputy Chief this morning. Chief of Police Kenneth Albano presided over the promotion ceremony at City Hall that was attended by Mayor Andy Ross, City Council Members Cheri Donohue and Gil Schisler, Interim City Manager Dr. Steve Spina, other law enforcement personnel and City staff as well as Deputy Chief Staley’s friends and family.

A third generation resident of Temple Terrace, Deputy Chief Staley began his affiliation with the Department at age 12 when he joined the Police Explorers under the direction of then TTPD Officer Greg Pauley. He attended the Police Academy when he was 18 and came to work for Temple Terrace the following year.

Deputy Chief Staley replaces Bernard Seeley, who retired from the position last year.

Congrats to the new Deputy Chief!
