Median home prices in Tampa rose to $378,160 in May

The median sale price of a home sold in May in Tampa rose by $43,160 while total sales decreased by 12.9 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May, there were 680 homes sold, with a median sale price of $378,160 - a 12.9 percent increase over the $335,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 781 homes sold in Tampa in May 2021.

The median sales tax in Tampa for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $2,058, approximately 0.5 percent of the median home sale price for May.
