Head women's soccer coach Joanie Dilbeck has added Amy and Claribel Hernandez to her roster for the 2022-2023 school year.

The Hernandez sisters come to Temple Terrace from The Villages, Fla.

Amy Hernandez is a 5'7" midfielder transferring from Edward Waters University. She scored eight goals in her last season with the Tigers, three of them against Allen University in a 16-1 win, securing her first career hat-trick.

She will be a junior studying business in the fall.

"I'm very excited to be here and look forward to the success this college provides through academic and athletic aspects," said Hernandez.

Claribel Hernandez is a 5'7" forward and comes to Florida College from The Villages Charter High School. She scored 34 goals and had seven assists over three years of varsity soccer. She later received her team's Most Outstanding Offense Award.

She will be a nursing major in the fall.

"I am very excited to be furthering my academic and athletic career with Florida College," said Hernandez.

"I cannot wait to see Amy in action for the Falcons this fall. She brings a level of physicality and mental toughness to the game which will be a huge asset," added Dilbeck. "Claribel brings a high soccer IQ and intensity to the pitch that will also serve our team greatly this fall."
