Head men's soccer coach Wayne Stopford has added sophomore transfer Alejandro Rojas to his 2022-2023 recruiting class.
Rojas, a 5'7" forward, comes to Temple Terrace from Riverview, Fla. He graduated from Riverview High School in 2021 and studied at Hillsborough Community College for three semesters.
While at Riverview High School, Rojas was named the team's Most Promising Underclassman in 2018 and Best Offensive Player in 2019. He also helped his team win the State Cup Championship in 2019.
He played club soccer for the West Florida Flames and played on the Elite team for five years. He was later selected to play at the Development Academy level with the Clearwater Chargers in 2019.
He will be a Kinesiology major in the fall.
"After many years of playing club soccer, I am very excited to play at the collegiate level under the NAIA. I am looking forward to starting the Kinesiology program at Florida College and becoming a Falcon," said Rojas. "I can't wait to be on the field with my team and play the sport I love most."
"We are thrilled to have Alejandro join our team this fall. He is a dynamic player and very fast. He brings with him a rich set of skills, which he can do a lot of great things with," added Stopford. "We can't wait to see the impact that Alejandro will have in or program in the years to come."
