Median home prices in Brandon rose to $344,000 in Q2

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2022 in Brandon rose by $86,000 while total sales decreased by 9.5 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June, there were 487 homes sold, with a median sale price of $344,000 - a 33.3 percent increase over the $258,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 538 homes sold in Brandon in the second quarter of 2021.

The median sales tax in Brandon for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $1,810, approximately 0.5 percent of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2022.
