Rising home prices in Greater Carrollwood in the first half of 2022

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2022 in Greater Carrollwood rose by $57,500 while total sales decreased by 5.3 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June, there were 354 homes sold, with a median sale price of $335,000 - a 20.7 percent increase over the $277,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 374 homes sold in Greater Carrollwood in the first half of 2021.

The median sales tax in Greater Carrollwood for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $2,274, approximately 0.7 percent of the median home sale price for the first half of 2022.
