We are in year four of the Education Referendum. Thanks to the support of our community, we have invested $438 million into our schools, most funds being used for full or partial air conditioning replacements. Of course, this is the busiest time, during the warmest months in Florida, but our service requests have declined since passing the halfpenny sales tax referendum, down 37% since 2018!
Ninety-nine air conditioning projects have been completed so far, and by the end of the ten-year referendum, we will complete 210 projects.
Thank you to the 72 vendors and 16 full-time technicians working hard each day to complete service requests!
