With the addition of K9 Brooks, HCSO's K9 Section now has 18 total teams dedicated to narcotics and explosives detection and patrol.
K9 Brooks is named after recently retired HCSO veterinarian, Dr. Roy Brooks. He served as the K9 Section's primary veterinarian for 40 years! He's now enjoying retirement and was recently surprised by K9 Brooks, his handler Dep. Perdomo, and members of the K9 Section.
