University of South Florida President Rhea Law still remembers what her teachers used to tell her decades ago when she was a student at Forest Hills Elementary School: "You can accomplish anything you want to set your mind to."
Fast forward to now - returning to the place where she was inspired so many years ago for the 2022 Great American Teach-In! Coincidentally, #GoBulls pride runs deep at Forest Hills. Around half of the staff are USF alumni, and 14 interns currently work there.
"I was astounded at how many of [the students] had really audacious goals," said President Law. "That's what education does. That's what the university does for you. It opens your eyes to the opportunities."
