Lady Falcons Headline Season Honors

The Lady Falcons received several conference honors before competing in the Continental Athletic Conference Championship.

Senior Emma Noskey was named Player of the Year for the second year in a row. She averaged 3.61 kills per set, tallying 404 total kills over the season. She added 377 digs, 61 blocks, and 38 service aces. She was named the CAC Attacker of the Week three times over the season, 1st Team All-Conference, and also made the All-Tournament team.

Senior Emilie Selvidge was named Setter of the Year for the second year in a row. She flaunts a long list of accomplishments including being named a four-time CAC Setter of the Week, 1st Team All-Conference, Most Outstanding Player, and made the All-Tournament team. She tallied 1,119 assists, 392 digs, 96 kills and 39 service aces in just one year of play.

Michelle Taylor was named co-Freshman of the Year alongside Maria Stewart of Haskell Indian Nations University. She was also named 2nd Team All-Conference. Taylor has been a key player for the Lady Falcons and has secured 171 kills, 125 digs, and 76 blocks.

Krista Trimble was named 1st Team All-Conference and made the All-Tournament team. She was also named the CAC Attacker of the Week earlier this year. She finished off her season with 315 kills, 390 digs, and 56 service aces.

Adriana Bravo was also named 1st Team All-Conference and made the All-Tournament team. She had 394 digs, 275 kills, and 42 blocks this season. She also received the NAIA Champions of Character award.

"I am thankful for the success that our team has had this season and am thankful for the opportunities I've had to reach my goals this year, with it being my last year. Getting player of the year would not have been possible without my teammates, coaches, and family for always believing in me and pushing me to reach my goals in life," said Noskey.

"I am so proud of the work that this team put in this year. We have a saying that it takes every single person on this team to be successful, from the players, to the managers, to the coaches. Each player that won awards this year would tell you that they couldn't have done it without their teammates and coaches pushing them to improve every day. As a coach, I am so grateful that I never had to question their work ethic, they worked so hard in the weight room and on the court every single day and it shows with the awards that they earned," said head coach Carry Brown.
