This morning, while working near Yorkshire Road, #teamHCSO noticed a home engulfed in flames. Deputies worked quickly to determine if anyone was inside. After no answer at the door, deputies put their own lives in danger and entered the home, finding three people and one dog inside sleeping. Thankfully, deputies were able to get them all out safely. HCFR responded to the scene and put out the fire.
“We are so glad our deputies were at the right place at the right time,” said Sheriff Chad Chronister. “Had #teamHCSO not been there, this could have ended very differently."
