Former Steinbrenner High School player and current Tampa Spartans shortstop, Stephanie Balmer, will compete in the NCAA D2 Softball Championship Tournament.

They begin the tournament as a number three seed against the sixth seeded Alabama Huntsville Chargers.

The first game is on Thursday, May 9.
