The University of South Florida men’s golf team finished in tenth place out of 16 teams at the Hyat Invitational in Jacksonville, Florida, on March 9.
The result places the Bulls in the middle of a competitive field, with the team finishing nine under par overall. Their strongest performance came during the second round of play.
Three USF golfers—Joshua Stewart, Jackson Spybey, and Nino Palmquist—tied for 36th place individually. Wilhelm Ryding tied for 44th overall, while Roman Solomon finished tied for 76th after closing out the tournament with a three-under-par score in the third round.
The Bulls are scheduled to compete next at the Linger Longer Invitational from March 20 to March 22 at Great Waters Country Club in Greensboro, Georgia. Full results and details about upcoming events can be found on the Bulls schedule page.
According to information provided by USF Men’s Golf, the program has won 19 conference titles and produced players who have earned 19 All-America honors. The team is led by Steve Bradley, who has been named American Athletic Conference Coach of the Year five times since taking over in 2014. Under Bradley’s leadership, USF has posted 25 tournament wins and made nine consecutive NCAA Regional appearances from 2013 to 2022.
