Villanova, featuring former Berkeley Prep pitcher Parkinson, falls to Florida Atlantic in NCAA matchup

Former Berkeley Preparatory School standout Will Parkinson and the Villanova Wildcats took a 15-5 loss in their NCAA Division I baseball game against Florida Atlantic Owls at noon on Sunday, March 1.

The contest was held at FAU Stadium and marked the third time these teams faced each other this season. In the game played Saturday, Feb. 28, the Wildcats lost 11-5.

Parkinson surrendered five earned runs across 2.1 innings, striking out one and issuing one walk.

The Wildcats will play next on Wednesday, March 4, at 6:05 p.m. at Dusty Rhodes Field at Harmon Stadium, where they will take on the North Florida Ospreys.
