Villanova Wildcats top Florida A&M Rattlers 4-1 with Will Parkinson on the mound

At 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 8, the Villanova Wildcats, featuring former Berkeley Preparatory School standout Will Parkinson, secured a 4-1 win in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Florida A&M Rattlers.

The matchup was held at Moore-Kittles Field and marked the third time this season the Wildcats have faced the Rattlers. The Wildcats had previously fallen to Florida A&M, 6-5, on Saturday, March 7.

Parkinson pitched four innings, allowing just one walk and striking out five batters.

The Wildcats are scheduled to play next on Tuesday, March 10, at 3:25 p.m. at Villanova Ballpark at Plymouth against La Salle Explorers.
