On Thursday, May 15, former Wharton High School standout Jake Turer’s current collegiate team the Tampa Spartans lost 10-2 against the Albany State Golden Rams in the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship.

The game took place at UT Baseball Field at 1 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Albany State Golden Rams in the tournament.

The Tampa Spartans’ next game will take place on Friday, May 16 at 5:20 p.m. at UT Baseball Field.
