City of Temple Terrace issued the following announcement on July 19.
The Boat Ramp at Rotary Park has re-opened.
The water has receded below the dock line and the boards are dried out enough that they are no longer excessively slippery.
Because currents are still swift under the Fowler Bridge and further upriver (flowing around 3-7 knots depending on the location), paddlers ae encouraged to use Riverhills Park as the river is much wider and current less strong at that location.
