Col. Melissa Moore (Ret.) has served with #teamHCSO for over 25 years. She was the first African American Female to earn the rank of Colonel within the agency. She now serves as the Community Relations Manager. She states "We have to continue to make our own history, the youth have to see something that is tangible." Watch her message now as the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office celebrates Black History Month by focusing on how to continue the legacy. #BlackHistoryMonth
